Lesson #1 Understanding How God Works

1 C Law of Moses and the History of God
We find God’s laws in the laws God gave to Moses. You can find them starting in the book of Exodus as Moses and the Israelites were preparing to leave Egypt, then the laws were spoken down from God to the people at Mt. Sinai. Also, right before Moses died, he gathered the people together and repeated the Laws of God which is found in Deuteronomy.
You see, YeHoVaH wanted children to love and fellowship with. God knew anything He created would be corrupted by evil. So, YeHoVaH thought everything through before He created anything. He saw everything from beginning to end. God realized because He is Holy and abides by His own laws, that He would have to pay for our sins. Once man sinned, he would become corrupted and would have no way to obtain righteousness.
I believe God was a triune (three in one) being just like us in the beginning. But if He died for us, all would be lost being only one person. That is when God divided Himself into three, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Before creation, the Son was The Word, (The Spoken Word of God).
Look at John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.”
Then, in John 1:14, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” Jesus laid down His Godhood and became a man. He lived without supernatural power and was assumed to be a bastard. Isaiah 53:3, “He was despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief and we hid our faces from Him."
Jesus lived a sinless life completely obeying The Torah (The first five books of the Bible) with the Laws of YeHoVaH given to Moses. After Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, The Holy Spirit came down and rested on Him in the form of a dove and Jesus then received power.
